I was fortunate to be one of the team photographers and capture photos of this historical game at Westhills Stadium. The fans were loud and proud waving team coloured souvenir towels and many donning the team jerseys. Pacific FC was victorious against The Wanderers in their inaugural home opener 1-0. Scoring for Pacific was Pacific defender Hendrik Starostzik scoring at the 23rd-minute mark. Pacific FC will be back in action Wednesday night under the lights at 8:00 pm against Winnipeg’s Valour FC.
